So, it looks like a tatooed snake. What is it, really? A very cool design on it, whatever it is, posed on the bright turquoise towel. It is a towel, right?Sheesh. My perception of reality is slithering out of my head...
It's clay with all these colored layers that form the design. I lost the documentation that came with it (or maybe it's here somewhere), so I can't remember the exact technique. I bought him in New Mexico a few years ago, for WAY too much money.
And yes, he's sitting on a towel. :-)
