First

My first photo with my new Christmas Canon. Not terribly good photography, but very fun subject matter, and not bad for the first shot after slapping in the batteries and SD card.

He's drinking some of the "Ohmigod it's 6:30, aren't the girls ever going to grow out of this?" homemade cocoa he made for us.

Is there anything so glorious as Christmas morning....6:30 notwithstanding...coffee was on our menu! I love your party hats...do you guys do Christmas Crackers? I never did until I met John snd spent my first Christmas with his family...they're from England. We have a contest...whoever wears their hat the longest wins a prize!

Hi Mindy! Yes, we each get a cracker in our second-stockings (the ones from some generous alter-Santas), so crowns have featured in our Christmas photos for the last several years. A nice addition to our traditions!

Love it...I was actually up at 6:30...waiting for the girls to wake up...which they didn't do until 7:30! Funny...

We usually do Crackers too (my older brothers were born in England..._, I forgot to get them this year...maybe I'll buy them now for next year!

OK, 5 hours later I'm still thinking about this post...I LOVE that MJ and Chloe are still waking up at 6:30 am on Christmas morning! It gives me hope for the "magic" to continue at Chez Winkler for many years...

6:30 is actually an improvement. When they were little, they usually woke us up at 3 or 4 a.m.

We haven't minded this reduction in the "magic" one bit. :-)

Love that picture of Frank! Brenna and Logan woke up at 8:30 and Brenna stretched her present opening until dinner. We still do stockings for us all. Hope you are enjoying your White Christmas. It was 80 here today and we kept the AC on so we could pretend it was cold outside!

Oh, sure, Gail, rub it in. "We kept the AC on" indeed. Hmmph.

Wanna swap houses for a while?
